RENTAL Agreement

  • I acknowledge the responsibility to ensure that the fuel level of the moving truck is at 3/4 before leaving the premises. I also commit to refueling the truck to the same level upon return. If I fail to do so, I understand and agree to pay a convenience fee of $4.50 per gallon for the estimated fuel shortfall. Additionally, if the truck is returned with less than 1/4 tank, I accept a $30.00 service fee. It is understood that PH Companies does not reimburse any excess fuel beyond the level indicated on the receipt gauge.


  • PH Companies provides the client with the minimum limits of protection required by the state or province where any claim, suit, or cause of action arises. This provided protection is in excess or secondary to any insurance coverage(s) of the client. The client assumes sole responsibility for any and all liability exceeding the applicable minimum protection limits for that state or province.


  • An automobile liability insurance policy or a qualified self-insurance arrangement provides the authorized driver with the minimum limits required by the automobile financial responsibility or compulsory insurance law of the accident's jurisdiction.


  • I understand that the moving truck must be returned to the same location where it was picked up. 


  • I acknowledge receipt of the User Instructions and understand my responsibility to read and comprehend them before operating the moving truck.


  • I understand that I am financially responsible for all damages to the moving truck.


  • I understand the importance of avoiding distracted driving. I acknowledge that using a hand-held mobile phone, except for emergency calls, and texting while driving a PH Companies moving truck is strictly prohibited. I recognize that my compliance with these rules is crucial for PH Companies to enter into this Agreement. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will be considered a significant violation of this Agreement.


  • The following evidence can be used to prove negligence and breach of contract in any lawsuit or arbitration: a) if the driver of the PH Companies moving truck was texting while driving; b) if the driver of the PH Companies moving truck was using a mobile phone (other than hands-free or for an emergency call) while driving.



  • I acknowledge that I have received and agree to the terms and conditions of this rental agreement.


  • In the event of a failure to return the moving truck, which would be considered a material breach of this Rental Agreement, PH Companies will need to recover the moving truck. If this occurs, PH Companies will provide notice by text, e-mail, and/or phone to all contact information provided. Upon receiving the notice, you are required to contact PH Companies within 24 hours to make arrangements for the removal of your goods. If you fail to contact PH Companies within that time, you agree that PH Companies will dispose of all goods in the moving truck at their sole discretion and cost.


  • The moving truck comes with a ramp, dolly, and 36 moving blankets. I understand that it is my responsibility to check the presence and condition of these supplies at the time of rental. If I do not perform this verification, I accept the quantity and condition of the supplies listed in this agreement. I acknowledge that I may be held responsible for any damaged or missing supplies as determined by PH Companies when the truck is returned.


  • I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to verify the condition, cleanliness, mileage, and fuel level of the moving truck at the time of rental. By not performing this verification, I accept the truck's condition as described in the provided documentation. Furthermore, I understand that I may be held responsible for any damage, cleaning fees, mileage, and fuel charges assessed by PH Companies upon the truck's return.

PROCEED
